Lactobacillus Casei

This strain of bacteria helps prevent cancer, support the immune system and provides anti-oxidants.

Lactobacillus Casei is normally found in the human intestine and mouth.

Research links this bacteria with strengthening immune defenses via its cell wall properties which can be helpful for cancer prevention[1], aiding as a prevention therapy for Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea[2], helps in older patients in regards to certain aspects of the immune system[3], and prevents growth of liver cancer cells in hepatocellular carcinoma[4]. In addition, this bacteria has antioxidant properties that lower inflammatory cytokines in diabetic patients[5], helps prevent H. Pylori and Salmonella infections by blocking its ability to swim in the gut[6], and helps prevent candidiasis in the oral cavity of older patients[7].
