This strain of bacteria helps reduce symptoms associated with Ulcerative Colitis, and UTI in women

Lactobacillus Fermentum can be found in sourdough.

Research links this bacteria with helping maintain remission and preventing relapse in Ulcerative colitis patients[1], helping overcome respirtory illnesses in highly trained distance runners[2], enhances the effects of the influenza vaccine [3], and helps treat urogenital infections in women[4].
